Sony Mobile has announced its new flagship smartphone, the Xperia Ion which features a large 4.6in screen.
It comes with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. Users can also expand its memory via the smartphone's microSD card slot.
One of the highlight of the Ion is its 12-megapixel camera which has a dedicated camera button that lets you snap photos even when the phone is locked. Also, Sony says the Exmor R sensor allows the camera to capture images even in low-light situations.
And it has a front facing camera that lets you make video calls in 720p resolution.
The smartphone comes bundled with a HDMI cable, 2 Xperia NFC-enabled SmartTags and a screen protector.
The Ion comes in black and red, and will be available by the end of the month for RM1,788.
